Aged 92: (Mason, Odd Fellow--Degree Scottish Rite Lodge 360 Sevierville, TN and former member of Lodge 149 in New Smyrna, FL); son of the lte Horace James Culbertson II and the late Margaret (Magill) "Peggy" Culbertson (Cowherd) Pettit (b. 12/15/1929 DeLand, Volusia County, FL); 1949 graduate of Saint Petersburg High School (Saint Petersburg, Pinellas County, FL); former husband of Gaile Madeline (Darque) Culbertson Sugg Koole Canfield (m. 11/25/1949 Dade City, Pasco County, FL) & she survives; husband of the late Emma Elizabeth (Graff) Arn Jenkins Simms Culbertson (m. 11/28/1970 Manatee County, Florida) & she preceded him in death on 12/28/1976 and of Helen Frances (Canty) Freeburg Culbertson (m. 10/15/1977 Hillsborough County, FL--44 yrs.) & she survives of the home; father of Karen Gaile (Culbertson) Lersch Roberts & the late William Frederick Culbertson, Jr.; step-father of Carl Gunner Freeburg; brother of Frederick Watts Culbertson; half-brother of Andrew Johnston "Andy" Culbertson/Cowherd, Alexander Johnston "Alex" Culbertson/Cowherd, the late James Drake Culbertson/Cowherd (who died at age 7 in a tractor accident) & the late Larry William Culbertson; (Note: the biological father of Andrew, Alexander & James was Benjamin Earl Cowherd)
