Aged 84; (United States Army from 1957 to 1962 as SP-E5 in Korea and during the Berlin Crisis/pastor to many congregations, most recently at Laddonia Christian Church in Laddonia, MO); son of the late William Earl Roberts & the late Anna Juanita (Wheeler) Roberts Rice Hill (b. 5/21/1938 Moberly, Randolph County, MO); 1956 graduate of Moberly High School/Junior College (Moberly, Randolph County, MO), earned a bachelor's degree from Riverside Baptist College (Riverside, Riverside County, CA), earned a master's degree at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (Louisville, Jefferson County, KY) and earned a PhD form California Theological Seminary (Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, CA); husband of Joyce Lee "joy" (Kinkade) Roberts (m. 10/12/1958 Bernie, Stoddard County, MO) & she survives of the home; father of the late Larry Dale Roberts, Jr.; adoptive father of Jacob Roberts; brother of Paul David Roberts, the late Judith Lyn (Roberts) Sparrow, the late Ronald Wheeler Roberts & the late Billie Ann (Roberts) Wiseman Skinner
