Aged 88; (USAF Korean Conflict during which he was injured & spent 6 mo. in a hospital in France/scraper operator for Howard Construction, Emory Sapp & Sons, Jack Simpson Construction & NEMO Coal Co.); son of the late Arthur Hayden Hawkins, Sr. & the late Bessie Mae (Young) Hawkins (b. 8/12/1931 Goss, Monroe County, MO); husband of the late Virginia (Howald) Berry Baker Hawkins (m. 9/11/1959 probably in Paris, MO) & she preceded him in death on 7/7/2011--they were married for 52 yrs.; father of Melanie Ann (Hawkins) Webb; step-father of Saunceria Sue (Baker) Neale; brother of the late Bettie Jean (Hawkins) Atkins Cave, the late Virginia Fern (Hawkins) Haywood, the late Thelma Ruth (Hawkins) Lewis & an infant brother who was stillborn
