Aged 73; (US Army Vietnam War--two tours of duty/livestock & row crop farmer/ worked for the Burlington Northern Railroad/life insurance salesman for Ozark National); son of the late William Frank " Bill" Strode & the late Mary Louise (Taylor) Strode (b. 12/14/1947 Hannibal, Marion County, MO); 1966 graduate of Louisiana High School (Louisiana, Pike County, MO) & 1975 graduate of Northeast Missouri State University (now Truman State) with a degree in industrial technology; husband of Karla Ann (Whitaker) Strode (m. 7/28/1973 Salt River Christian Church rural New London, MO) & she survives; father of Joseph Edward Strode & Melissa Diane (Strode) Williams Boyer; brother of Julie Elizabeth (Strode) Reese, Lawrence Taylor "Larry" Strode, Robert Frank Strode & the late Daniel Lapsley Strode; buried with full military honors
