Stephen Thorp, 59, of Moberly, is in Fulton prison after a stand-off with Randolph County Sheriff's deputies on Monday; he has been parolled three times in 10 yrs. and rearrested for parole violations
Thorp was originally charged with the killing of Richard Gillenwater in Nov. of 1993 & convicted of second-degree murder & armed criminal action and was serving 37 yrs. for those crimes
