Glance at the Past-Who had a shoe repair shop in Higbee for many years?
The owner of one of the longest established business in Higbee was Edwin B. Hawkins, 1901-1995. He was born in Fayette but his family moved to Higbee when he was young. His father set up a shoe repair shop in 1912, he set up his own shop in 1913.
