Happy 158th Birthday to the City of Moberly-September 27, the Birthday of the "Magic City"
The late 1850's were an exciting time for Randolph County, Missouri. There was a debate over slavery and a fear that a civil war was imminent, men going west for gold and railroads coming to the county. The North Missouri Railroad was completed in 1859.
