Glance at the Past "The YMCA on Coates Street"
The first YMCA was built in industrial London in 1844. Seven years later the first US YMCA was started at South Church in Boston. In 1899, Moberly began the process to build a YMCA. It was dedicated on February 20, 1901 and closed on February 1, 1930.
