Glance at the Past "A December Gala Event"
On a Wednesday evening, December 11, 1889, gala was held at the new Union Station at the east end of Reed Street. The $40,000 station was the "pride of Moberly" where thousand of travelers passed through its doors or viewed it from the windows of cars.
